Why the Saturday trip is worth it

Eight lanes with an axe-pert coaching each one, a scoreboard for every throw, and Happy Street Brü Werks brewing on site. Book a 3 PM lane, then spend the evening in downtown Mount Vernon, where dinner and coffee are within a block of the door.

One person books for the whole carload and Summit seats everyone together, up to six per lane. Sixty minutes is $30 per person, ninety is $35, and two hours is $40.

Good to know

Is Summit worth the drive from Columbus?

It is under an hour from north Columbus for eight coached lanes, an on-site brewery, and a walkable downtown for dinner. Most groups make it a Saturday afternoon and evening.

When is Summit open?

Friday 5–9 PM and Saturday 3–9 PM. Private rentals are available other days outside normal hours.

Should we book before we drive?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome when a lane is open, but Saturdays fill and booking online is the only way to guarantee a start time.

Where do we park?

On the street or in one of the public parking lots in downtown Mount Vernon.

Can kids come?

Throwers must be at least 10. Anyone under 18 throws with an adult present, and a parent or legal guardian signs the waiver. Kids 10–17 are $25 for an hour.

Is there food?

Summit does not serve food. Bring your own or have takeout delivered from the restaurants a block away. Happy Street Brü Werks pours beer and hard seltzer on site for guests 21 and over.

How long should we plan for?

An hour on the lane plus ten minutes early for the waiver and safety talk. Ninety-minute and two-hour sessions are available for a group that wants a longer stay.
